November Birchbox Giveaway! // CLOSED

With this month's Birchbox, I'm doing something a little different. With Thanksgiving right around the corner the theme for this month's box as giving. Within the box, they sent along a little gift box that you could put one of the products in and give it to someone else. Well, instead of giving away juts one product, I'm giving away the whole box! Let's just say i'm in the spirit of giving. :) This month box has some pretty great products, so whoever wins, I'm going to be pretty jealous of.

I also chose to switch my monthly subscription to a newer company called Ipsy and it was founded by one of my favorite beauty gurus on Youtube, Michelle Phan. It's pretty much the same thing has Birchbox, you get beauty samples every month for $10. I wanted to try something different and see which one I like best. So for a while, instead of Birchbox reviews, I'll be having Ipsy reviews. You guys should definitely go check them out, the site is super interactive and it even has a shop!

Alright onto the prizes, here's what one lucky winner is getting!

(from top left to right)
1 Feeling Smitten Holiday Bath Bomb
1 ModelCo Fibre LashXtend Lengthening Mascara
1 Stella Cadente Miss Me Eau de Parfum
1 Oscar Blandi Pronto Texture & Volume Spray
2 Caldrea Hand Soaps in Crimson Pear Ginger and Mandarin Vetiver
1 Cranberry Soyjoy granola bar

Birchbox #5- October

I think today's weather forgot that it was October and fall season, because it's about 70ish degrees right now. When I walked out the door this morning in boots and a sweater I quickly turned right around, because I wasn't going to sweat my ass off. I'm not complaining, it was a very nice surprise. As of now, its back to being gloomy and will probably storm soon. Oh Wisconsin, you and your constantly changing weather.

I'm spending my day off making gingerbread cupcakes (recipe will be up soon! I promise). They smell amazing and I can't wait to sink my teeth into one. This day is going by way to fast already. I'm not looking forward to my weekend because I work all the way through it. The thrill of having 2 jobs!

------------------------------------

Yesterday, I received my ever so wonderful Birchbox in the mail again. This box isn't one of my favorites and I was a tad bit disappointed, but the products are pretty good. Enjoy looking at what I got!

 Mighty Leaf Tea
I love tea, so this was one my favorite products in the box.
I can't wait to try out the Earl Grey tea, freakin love that stuff.

 LiQWd Hair Products
I'm super excited to try out the conditioning treatment, it says
it boosts volume and re-hydrates strands. The crunch waves I
might have to wait for summer to try that one out.

 Harvey Prince Eau Flirt
This perfume smells awesome! It reminds me a lot of the DKNY Be Delicious.
It has notes of citrus and jasmine and the citrus really
stands out.

 theBalm Cosmetics
This product is a 3 in 1. It can be used as a shadow, highlighter, and all over shimmer.
I'll probably just be using it as a shadow. I'm not a big fan
of highlighting or making my face look like a twilight character.

Mox Botanicals
This lip balm is awesome! It has avocado oil and shea butter in it which is a
great moisturizer. It also smells like pomegranate, which I love!
The only downside is that it doesn't last long on the lips.

Well I must get back to those amazingly smelling cupcakes in the oven. Hope you enjoyed this month's Birchbox and have a wonderful rest of your afternoon.

What did you guys get in your Birchbox? Leave a link!!

Birchbox #4- September

---------------------------------------------------------

Annnnnnnnd it's that time of month once again! I literally waited for my mail man everyday for a week to see if he had my little box in hand. It finally cam the other day and like I always say, it's like Christmas! I'm so happy with my decision to join Birchbox, I love getting little samples of new products and have fallen in love with so many new products since I joined. Here's what I got in this month's box :)

Fall Lookbook
They sent along this little pocket book full of fun fall looks to try.
There is hair and nail tutorials and super cute fall outfits.

Band-Aid Cynthia Rowley
I adore these. I'm a huge first aid freak (I have 3) so I love the fact
that I can add these cute and girly band aids to my kit.
Now who cares if I get a cut, cuz I'm going to look fricken fly.

Twirl by Kate Spade
I love perfume samples. This one by Kate Spade is a very
strong yet feminine scent. I'm more of a flowery girl, but I might
use this on a date night or night out.

Benefit Facial Washes
I haven't used these yet, but I'm super excited.
The packaging is so cute and makes me that more excited to try it out.

Color Club Polish and Twistband
One word: amazeballs.

Dr. Jart BB Cream
This is an awesome product. It's a primer, moisturizer, foundation, and sunscreen
all in one. The only thing I dislike about it is that the sunscreen
smell is a little to over powering.

That's it! Now the wait begins for October's box. Hurry up mail man! Hope you guys enjoyed seeing what was in this months box. If you haven't already, get your booty over to Birchbox now and sign up, you won't regret it!!

Birchbox #3- August

It's that time of the month again! No, not that time, that's a little more personal then I feel like getting with you guys. So it's the other time, Birchbox time! This month Birchbox's theme was beauty school. Perfect for students like me who are going back to school in the fall. They sent us products that will put a spring in our beauty essentials and get us ready for the coming school year! I loved this month's box, just like the last two. Definitely sticking with this.

See what I got!

Beauty School Cheat Sheet
Going alone with the beauty school theme of this month,
Birchbox sent a little booklet with super great tips
and tricks that will help any girl with their beauty related problems.

Beauty Fixation Cuticle Conditioner
I have never seen something like this before. They are
q-tips filled with a cuticle conditioner. Genius!! So easy to apply,
I can't wait to try them out.

Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy La Fluer
I tried this right away and fell instantly in love.
This is now my new favorite scent. Definitely going to be using my
Birchbox points towards a full size bottle of this! It's a blend of wild
berries, mandarin, and waterlily and it is to die for!

WEI Pomegranate Buffing Beads
This was another newbie for me. I'm very curious to see how these
little "buffing beads" work. You blend them in with your normal
skin cleanser and it gives you an uplifting antioxidant scrub. We'll see
how it does.

WEI Golden Root Mud Mask
Super excited to try this little baby out.
I love masks. I promise to do a review on this and let
you all know how it goes!

Schick Hydro Silk Razor
This razor was a Birchbox exclusive and I'm pretty pumped for it.
I don't usually pamper myself with razor (I always go for the cheap one time uses)
so I'm excited to give my legs a nice shave with this water
activating razor!

Birchbox #2- July

First off, I wanted to thank you all for the support in yesterday's post about Patches. I really felt all the love from you all with the great comments you sent. I truly appreciate them all.

This Birchbox review is a little late, but it's been a busy busy month. This is my second Birchbox and this box made me love my subscription even more! There was some really great products in this box and I loved them all. This month Birchbox teamed up with Glamour to give each wonderful person a box full of senses! Each product in this box relates to a different sense. How fun is that!?

Here's what I got:

Larabar Uber Bar
This energy bar was so yummy! It tasted exactly like banana nut bread.
They're super good for you and a great way to get
a little pick me up in between meals.

Oscar de la Renta Live in Love
I really like the smell of this perfume, though it isn't
a scent I would wear for everyday wear. If I have a hot
date with the man or going out with the girls I would
definitely wear this then.

Birchbox Exclusive Earbuds
I was really excited for these earbuds to come in my box.
I love the bright neon colors. The only downside is that after
a while of using them I noticed they started to wear out
quickly. I was kind of disappointed with that, but otherwise
they're great!

Jouer Moisture Tint
I gotta say, I love this product!! I'm not a big fan of the
"luminizing" part (too Edward Cullen for me) but otherwise
it's a great moisturizing light foundation. I've been using it everyday for the
last couple of weeks.

Boscia Blotting Linens
Love these!! I've been using them everyday since I got them
and they work great!

Eyeko Liquid Eyeliner
I'm not a big user of eyeliner, but I really like this olive green
color. It glides on really nice and is super easy to work with.

That's it for today, hope you guys enjoyed the unboxing! I can't wait for my August box to come in!!

Who else joined Birchbox?

Birchbox #1- June

My first BirchBox came in the mail about a week ago and I was so excited when I saw it in the mail box. I started jumping for joy and I let out a little squeal. I knew instantly that I wanted to do a review for you guys so I tried using most of the products last week to get a good feel for them. Enjoy the pictures and hopefully the reviews might help those still wondering if they should join. That was me a couple of months ago and I'm so glad I joined. It's like getting a present for yourself every month!

Hair Rules Volumizing Shampoo
I love this stuff. It smells great and it works amazingly. My hair felt awesome afterwards and the "volumizing" part really volumizes. Not that my hair was a bee-hive or anything, but it created a really nice natural volume even without blow drying.

La Fresh Face Cleanser Wipes
These face wipes were kind of a miss for me. They were a little rough on my skin and I still had to rub harder on my eyes to remove my non-waterproof mascara. I've been using Garnier makeup remover wipes for years and these definitely don't live up to them.

Tili Bags
I used these bags to hold all my sample packets of face lotion, shaving cream, etc. and I really like them. They're great for travel or holding onto little things in your purse.

theBalm Lip and Cheek Stain
This was by far my favorite product in this month's box. I've been using it like crazy since I got it. I love it for my lips because it adds a great subtle red to them. It's awesome for on the go and quick re-touches!

Winks Faux Lashes
I haven't tried these yet because I'm disabled when it comes to putting on fake eyelashes. When the day comes that i'm able to apply these babies, I bet they'll look great!

Happy Monday everyone!
