I'm going to be talking about my favorite time of the year...

autumn!

Did I mention that my name was also, Autumn?

It's definitely not a coincidence.

I am a 100% October baby.

I love everything about this time of year,

but today I'm going to share my Top 3 Fall Favorites!

#1. Fall wardrobes! 

Oh how I adore scarves, boots and earth tones.

I also consider a pumpkin spice latte to be the best fall accessory.

#2.  Halloween!

I have always loved dressing up for Halloween.

My goal this year is to get my hubby to dress up in a couple costume with me.

It's going to happen.

He just doesn't know it yet.

Halloween also gives me the perfect excuse to dress my furbaby up

without the fear of people looking at me like I'm crazy.

 #3. Thanksgiving!

I love family time

and I love food.

So Thanksgiving is the best of both worlds!

I also love the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

I've watched it for as far back as I can remember.

Actually going to the parade is on my bucket list.

Oh,

and when Thanksgiving comes around, 

that also means that it is almost time to decorate for Christmas!

I could go on and on,

but I will stop for now.

You recently started blogging, what made you want to start a blog in the first place? 

I started my blog to have a hobby. My husband works a lot of overtime and instead of going out shopping or shopping online (my addiction), I played it safe and did something for free! I see a lot of twenty-something bloggers but you rarely see any thirty-something ones so that was more motivation for me too. 

How are you enjoying the blogging world so far?

I enjoy blogging. It has taken some time to learn the blogging world lingo and I still have a long way to go because there is so much out there! Made some friends along the way and have joined several swaps, hops, and sponsorships. I will talk to anyone about anything so I welcome comments and emails! 

What can readers find over at A Husband and A Dog?

A Husband and A Dog is about my daily life happenings. Granted I may not have the most glamorous lifestyle or boatloads of money to spend on clothes, shoes, and makeup but I sure do know how to desire these things. You will see entries about food that I love, places to visit, clothes/shoes that I saw while online window shopping, even cleaning products! 

   You have one of the cutest corgis I've ever seen? What's the story behind the sweet face?

Lincoln, our tri-colored baby. We don't plan on having any children so a Corgi was the next best thing. He will be five years old this October. Words to describe him would be: spoiled, fickle, and lazy. He has a soft and comfy bed in just about every room (sometimes two beds per room). He is a lover of ice cubes and chicken. Does not like long walks or the beach. Lincoln sleeps (most of the time) on the bed in between us, snores, farts, and burps.

Hello everyone! I’m Katharine from Life Through His Eyes blog. And I’m so grateful to Kelly for giving me this wonderful chance of meeting you all through this guest post. :)

I am having a fresh start as a fresh grad in a different land -- Hanoi -- my new home away from home. So most of my blogs would be about my expat life in Hanoi and other random ramblings. :)

I am a traveler and a language learner. I love music...a lot! I love LOVE. and most importantly...I am a daughter of God who hopes to inspire other young ladies and everyone who comes across my blog to see the beauty of life through His lenses. 

Living life in a foreign place especially when you just graduated from the univ is not easy. I am twenty and I totally jumped from one life to another. I could’ve just stayed in my hometown, have a vacation for a month or two before looking for a job or something. But I didn’t. I believe I was called for a bigger purpose. And as my blog name suggests, I want to see life through His lenses because everytime I do, everything just makes sense. I understand why I’m here, what I am here for, and instead of being burdened how difficult life is, I see the beauty it brings. I may not had the 2-month vacation every fresh grad wants after 4 years of sleepless nights but God gave me something better, everyday in this foreign place has its own little surprises for me. 

There would be a few bumps on the road for sure but the number of good things cancels it all out. And though I have been caught up with work for the past few weeks which left my blog dead for a while, I do believe life is just about to get more and more exciting for me here! I can’t wait to blog about everything that happened for the past 2 weeks and for the things to come. 

Thanks to this guest post, I’m back on blogger world! How’s that for a comeback? Haha. I have just updated and completed my blog series on Love and Waiting. And I would really like to share it to all of you.  So you can visit my site, read through it and leave some love!
